What we do
Adelaide Veterinary Walk In Clinic is proud to be Adelaide’s first dedicated urgent care practice for pets. We provide a vital service that bridges the gap between general veterinary practice and emergency care, delivering timely and compassionate treatment. Our clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis for consultations during evenings and weekends, catering to patients who may otherwise face prolonged wait times at emergency hospitals.

We treat all urgent, non-life-threatening conditions through outpatient consultations. Additionally, AVWIC collaborates closely with your primary veterinary practice and local emergency hospitals to ensure a seamless continuation of care for your pet. We promptly send all medical records to your general practice, keeping them informed of your pet's visit with us.
Who we are
Adelaide Veterinary Walk In Clinic was established by Drs. Hannah Passmore and Isabella Fricke, both of whom are experienced emergency veterinarians. Each have spent the majority of their careers in emergency and specialty hospitals, having experience from both around Australia and in the UK. The founders created AVWIC with the mission of enhancing accessibility to after-hours veterinary care for pets while ensuring a sustainable working environment for professionals in this rewarding field.
