About us
Adelaide Veterinary Walk In Clinic is proud to be Adelaide’s first dedicated urgent care practice for pets. We provide a vital service that bridges the gap between general veterinary practice and emergency care, offering compassionate, timely treatment when your regular vet is closed.

What we do
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis every evening, weekend, and public holiday, providing care for pets with urgent conditions. Whether your pet is suddenly limping, unwell, or uncomfortable, we’re here to help, without the long wait times of an emergency hospital.

AVWIC collaborates closely with your primary veterinary practice and local emergency hospitals to ensure a seamless continuation of care for your pet. We promptly send all medical records to your general practice, keeping them informed of your pet's visit with us.
Who we are
Adelaide Veterinary Walk In Clinic was founded in 2024 by Dr. Isabella Fricke and Dr. Hannah Passmore. Both having extensive emergency experience in Adelaide, they noticed that pets with non-critical conditions often wait for several hours in busy emergency hospitals to be seen. Understanding how stressful this can be for pet parents, they have created a walk in clinic that offers pets timely and compassionate care when they need it.

Alongside our veterinarians, is a team of caring and dedicated nurses with a diverse background of experience in emergency, general practice, and specialty care. What unites us is our passion for pets and our commitment to delivering care with compassion, respect, and integrity.
